Developing the brand
tfench don't just produce high quality functional training equipment, they have created an entire community that believes in strength and functional training as a way of life. They build stronger and happier humans and they needed an online presence that portrayed that. The home page has a heavy focus on "social proof". I wanted the first thing that the user sees to be the many people that tfench has impacted across the world with their kit.
Quick and Flexible Development Process
Being an early life startup tfench needed a website that was not only professional and aesthetic, but also low cost and flexible. They were evolving rapidly at the time and the requirements of the site would often change. Utilising the latest in professional WordPress theme development, I was able to use flexible, responsive, pre-built themes that enabled me to chop and change the layout of the site quickly and easily. Building with this sort of design system has also meant that the site can be built upon and released in stages. tfench 1.0 is very much a brochure site but plans are already in place to begin development of a fully fledged e-commerce store.
